Open 2010 - A brand new eco-friendly 2 bedroom luxury holiday let
West Lampetho is situated in South Cornwall on the rural outskirts
of the village of Tywardreath, near to Fowey. We have been busy converting a 1950s agricultural barn into a modern, contemporary,
eco-friendly, 2-bedroom self-catering holiday let. The barn is surrounded by farmland and located 50m from our farmhouse where
our family lives.
Our aim was to create a comfortable, well-insulated property that would take advantage of our small-scale
wind turbine located 200m away in our next field. This clean, green source of renewable electricity combined with solar hot
water makes the property pretty much self-sufficient on most days.
