West Lampetho is situated in South Cornwall on the rural outskirts of the village of Tywardreath, near to Fowey. We have been busy converting a 1950s agricultural barn into a modern, contemporary, eco-friendly, 2-bedroom (sleeps 4 plus cot) self-catering holiday let. The barn is surrounded by farmland and located 50m from our farmhouse where our family lives.

Our aim was to create a comfortable, well-insulated property that would take advantage of our small-scale wind turbine located 200m away in our next field. This clean, green source of renewable electricity combined with solar hot water makes the property pretty much self-sufficient on most days.

We as a family very much enjoy watersports and the outdoor life here in Cornwall. We would be delighted to offer any assistance in making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We can offer complementary therapies and links to outdoor activities within the local area. From on-site reflexology and massage to a windsurfing or sailing course. Who knows, Jim (a keen watersports enthusiast and part-time instructor) might even convince you that stand-up paddleboarding is your thing!
