Charlestown Harbour

Writer's picture: BreezyJimBreezyJim

Just 15 minutes away is the Historic Grade II listed harbour of Charlestown. Formerly a working harbour for the China Clay Industry, it was more recently used as a film location for Poldark, and formerly for any film with a Tall Ship in it (even a Dr Who episode!). There's a Shipwreck Museum, countless restaurants, pubs and coffee shops...Oh, and did I mention the two lovely beaches. It's well worth a visit.
